First Post - Braves Win in Walk-Off Fashion, 5-4

The Mississippi Braves have started off a little slow at 3-3, but last night's heroics by Madison native, Michael Rosamond may be just what the doctor ordered for this team. In a game in which the Braves struggled for offense, they got the breaks in the game for once including a two-base error charged to Drew Macias which scored two runs and tied the game for the Braves in the bottom of the eighth. Then in the ninth with one out, Michael Rosamond hit the first pitch he saw into the left field berm for a walk-off win, 5-4. Tonight the Braves take on the BayBears in game two of the series and it should be just as exciting. The Braves On Deck Circle powered Nextel starts everything off at 6:05pm with the first pitch following at 7:o5pm. Don't forget to bring your radio to the ballpark and tune into either AM-930 or our Trustmark Park frequency of 104.3-FM. Thanks and feel free to leave your comments below.
