MS Braves Shore Up Bullpen

The Mississippi Braves announce that RHPs Paul Bush and Joe Winkelsas have both been activated from the disabled list and assigned to AA Mississippi. Both were in AAA Richmond before being placed on the disabled list. RHP Tyler Bullock has been reassigned to High-A Myrtle Beach.

Bush was originally assigned to start the year in Mississippi, but was sent to AAA Richmond before opening day. He was 1-0 with one save and an ERA of 1.74 through five games in Richmond. He allowed two runs through 10.1 innings of work.

Winkelsas was 1-0 with an ERA of 3.97 through five games in AAA Richmond. He allowed six runs, five earned, through 11.1 innings pitched. In his previous stint in Mississippi earlier this year, Winkelsas did not allow an earned run through 16.2 innings pitched. His 16.1 consecutive scoreless innings pitched streak still stands as the longest scoreless innings pitched streak for the M-Braves this year.

Bullock was 0-0 with an ERA of 6.00 after allowing three runs, two earned, through 3.0 innings pitched.
