Quick Turnaround For Tonight

The Braves arrived in Pearl this morning at 4:00am and unloaded at the clubhouse before heading home to sleep. This broadcaster got about 90 minutes of sleep because of another coughing attack, a 4 1/2 week old baby that got hungry at about 4:45am, and a 4-year old that was happy to see her daddy at 6am. There is no better feeling than to be missed and loved and I am lucky to have that.

On the way home the Braves watched the 40-year old Virgin with Steve Carell. It was hysterical. We also drove through some nasty thunderstorms that sent the bus rocking back and forth, so needless to say with all of those distractions I got no sleep on the bus.

Come out to the park tonight and see the Braves take on the Biscuits.
