Magic Number Reduced to Six

The MS Braves Magic Number to clinch the First Half Southern Division Title was reduced to six this afternoon thanks to the Mobile BayBears victory over the Jacksonville Suns (7-5). The Suns have 10 games remaining against Chattanooga and Montgomery. Should Montgomery win tonight they will move into a tie for second place with Jacksonville and their final 2 series are against Mobile and Jacksonville. The Braves remaining 10 games, after tonight's series finale against the D-Jaxx, are 5 in Birmingham and 5 at home against Mobile.
