Braves & BayBears Series Finale Cancelled

The Braves and BayBears got one-half inning of baseball in before the first rain-delay that lasted 48 minutes. The two teams then played another half-inning before rain halted play again and they decided at that point to cancel the series finale at Hank Aaron Stadium.

The Braves will enjoy an off-day on Monday and start up a five game set with the Montgomery Biscuits on Tuesday night at 7:05pm. The Braves are scheduled to send RHP Daniel Curtis (1-2, 5.64 ERA) to the hill while it is not known who Montgomery will counter with at this time. The Braves On Deck Circle powered by Nextel starts off the broadcast at 6:05pm on SuperSport 930 (WSFZ-AM-930).

BRAVES BITES:

*This is the second game to be postponed due to rain this season for the Braves. There will be no makeup date since the two teams do not meet again in the first half.
