Braves Win Series Finale: W, 4-1

The Braves jumped out in front of the Lookouts 2-0 in the first inning with Michael Rosamond's two-out two-run homer to straight-away center field. It was his fourth homer against Chattanooga on the season and his team-leading eleventh on the season. It was also his second time this season to homer in back-to-back games (First time was also against Chattanooga). The Braves bullpen shut down the Lookouts limiting them to just 1 hit in 2 and 1/3 innings in front of a crowd of 3,993 at Trustmark Park. That pushed the Braves over the 100,000 (102,435) fans on the season...averaging 3,415 per game

Matt Wright (6-2, 2.10 ERA) won his fourth straight decision and his sixth overall as Zach Schreiber pitched a perfect ninth for his sixth save in as many chances on the season.

Lookouts starter Josh Hall (2-1, 3.77 ERA) lost his first game of the season in 5 starts as he gave up 4 runs on 9 hits. The Lookouts bullpen also kept the Braves off the scoreboard as well allowing just an eighth inning lead-off single by Michael Rosamond.

The Braves added to their lead in the third with an RBI triple by Luis Hernandez (2nd of season) which scored Gregor Blanco. Hernandez came in to score when second baseman Javier Colina's errant throw got away from third baseman Aaron Herr.

The Braves continue their final 10-game homestand of the season which will close out the first half as the Braves welcome the defending Southern League Champion Jacksonville Suns in the series opener of the five-game set Tuesday night at 7:05 CT. The Suns have won a SL best 12 in a row and 20 of their last 21. The Braves will send RHP Daniel Curtis (2-5, 4.76 ERA) to the hill, while Jacksonville counters with RHP TJ Nall (3-2, 3.48 ERA). The Braves On Deck Circle powered by Nextel starts off the broadcast at 6:05pm (CT) on SuperSport 930. Don't forget to bring your radios Tuesday and tune into AM-930 or 104.3 FM exclusively at Trustmark Park.
