Mother Nature Does It Again: PPD - RAIN

The MS Braves had gone a season and a half without a rainout at Trustmark Park and now within a span of 2 weeks the Braves have had two rainouts as the Southern League contest between the Braves and Tennessee Smokies was postponed Thursday night. Both games will still air on CSS starting at 6:00pm (CT)

The Braves continue a five game set in Pearl, Mississippi at Trustmark Park as they take on the Tennessee Smokies, the AA Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, in games two and three of the series. First Pitch of game one is set for 6:05 PM (CT). The Braves are scheduled to send LHP Chris Waters (5-8, 4.15 ERA) to the hill while the Smokies are scheduled to counter with RHP Garret Mock (4-7, 4.43 ERA). First Pitch of game two is set for approximately 8:05 PM (CT). The Braves are scheduled to send LHP Matt Harrison (1-2, 3.91 ERA) to the hill while the Smokies are scheduled to counter with LHP Greg Smith (3-3, 4.50 ERA). The Braves On Deck Circle powered by Nextel starts off the broadcast at 5:45 PM (CT) on SuperSport 930. Don't forget if you're headed to the game then take your radio and tune to 104.3-FM exclusively at Trustmark Park.
