Matt Wright (7-3, 2.22 ERA), the #2 pitcher in the Southern League and All Star Representative, has been promoted to AAA Richmond. Jarrod Saltalamacchia has been activated from the disabled list.

This is my third year to broadcast the MS Braves on SuperSport 930. The first season was one I will never forget with the likes of Francouer, McCann and Boyer all coming through Pearl. Last season was exciting as well with Manager Jeff Blauser, #1 prospect Jarrod Saltalamacchia along with Yunel Escobar headlining the team. All while watching more current and former MS Braves getting the promotion to Atlanta: Chuck James, Martin Prado, Phil Stockman, Scott Thorman and Kevin Barry. The rehab appearances of Chipper Jones, Kyle Davies, Joey Devine and John Thomson were also nice highlights. I am married to the former Cyndi Tomlinson of Madison, MS and we have three children: Gracie - 5, Lila - 2, Bryan, Jr. - 1.
