MS Braves Announce Three All Stars

Congratulations to MS Braves RHP Matt Wright, OF Gregor Blanco and INF Barbaro Canizares for being named to represent the South Division in the 2006 Southern League All Star Game at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama on Monday July 10 at 7pm. Last year Chuck James represented the Braves after Jeff Francouer, Scott Thorman and Anthony Lerew were selected to play in the game last year, but were promoted prior to the game. Gregor Blanco received enough votes to play in the game but was promoted to AAA Richmond on June 18.

NOTE: Barbaro Canizares was added late to the roster after Wilkin Ruan was promoted to AAA Las Vegas.
