Braves Skid Extends on Controversy: L, 3-2

The Braves had their losing skid stretch to seven on a questionable game-ending play as Bobby Darula appeared to slide into foul territory to make an attempt on a Maniscalco pop up only to have the umpire rule it fare as Chairon Isenia scored all the way from first on the play. the Braves lost four games in the series by just one run. It marked the first five-game sweep the Braves have suffered this season.

Matthew Maniscalco had the game winning RBI for the second straight night in front of an announced crowd of 6,445 at Riverwalk Stadium.

The Braves staff of Matt Wright and Arthur Santos combined to retire 16 straight batters until Isenia reached on a throwing error by Luis Hernandez setting up the 10th inning drama.

Matt Wright (8-3, 2.08 ERA) missed a chance at his eighth victory as he exited after seven innings retiring the last eight batters he faced.

The Braves got their only runs in the first inning after Yunel Escobar tripled in Onil Joseph who reached on a broken bat single to start the game.
