Series Finale Washed Out: CANCELLED

The series finale between the Mississippi Braves and Huntsville Stars was cancelled due to unsafe playing conditions. Rain poured through the Huntsville metro area Tuesday afternoon and the field suffered a couple of wet spots that could not be brought to playing standards.

The Braves will start up a five game set in Pearl, Mississippi at Trustmark Park as they take on the Montgomery Biscuits, the AA Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, in the series opener. First Pitch is set for 7:05 PM (CT) live from Trustmark Park. The Braves are scheduled to send RHP Sean White (4-6, 4.53 ERA) to the hill, while the Biscuits are scheduled to counter with RHP Jeff Niemann (5-5, 2.88 ERA). The Braves On Deck Circle powered by Nextel gets everything started off at 6:05pm. Don't forget if you're headed to the game then take your radio and tune to 104.3-FM exclusively at Trustmark Park.
