Braves Strand 16 in Loss: L, 3-2

Zach Schreiber entered the game in the 10th innings and gave up a walk-off homerun to Eric Patterson on the first pitch of the tenth to send the Braves to their third loss of the second half, in front of a crowd of 1,102 at Pringles Park. The Braves spoiled another good outing by Matt Wright (7-2, 1.97 ERA) denying him his sixth consecutive victory. Carlos Almanzar pitched two scoreless innings of relief allowing just a walk.

The Braves had multiple chances to pull out a win leaving runners on base in every inning but the fourth and sixth, the two innings in which they were retired in order. The Braves left 6 men stranded at 3rd base and 16 men stranded in the game. The Braves also went 2 for 17 with runners in scoring position. In this series the Braves have combined to strand 41 baserunners and go 10-50 with runners in scoring position.

The Braves sent 49 men to the plate while the D-Jaxx sent 38 and the Braves also out hit the Diamond Jaxx 10-9.

The Braves will wrap up their five game set at Pringles Park in Jackson, Tennessee as they take on the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx in the series and season finale set for 7:05 PM (CT). It is not known who the Braves will send to the hill, while the D-Jaxx counter with RHP Sean Gallagher (1-0, 3.60 ERA).
